CHRISTIANS ARE IN THE SAME CATEGORY in this REGARD (or should be). We are "IN BUT NOT OF this world." And so we are NOT always comfortable with the way the world works, including "the west" (ie our own backyard). Lots of things in our own backyard makes us uncomfortable (or should). So we have this in common with many Muslims, and perhaps need to communicate this with them more often. However, personally,I don't encounter Muslims very often,as far as I am aware of, except for some 7-11 clerks (maybe),but they rarely will tell me their religion,so its never a sure thing.
"...
Muslims are in a love/hate relationship with
the West. They love healthcare, technology and
some ideas from the West but regret its
deteriorating effect on their cultures . Some blame
television programs and government policies from
the "Christian West" as the reason for problems
and sin in their own countries...."
